My first interview!

Today, I recorded the first interview for the documentary! 

It was a 15 minute sit down interview with Danielle van de Donk!

It felt surreal, she has been my favourite player for a long time now so to be able to secure time with her for an interview was one of the proudest moments I have had in this journey. 

Going into the interview I was prepared but I was nervous as it was the first one I had done. Setting up the camera and mics was all a new experience for me but it went smoothly. I was relaxed in time to do the interview. 

We spoke about all things WSL attendances, what the fans mean to players and the impacts they have on performance. Having played for Arsenal, Lyon and now London City Lionesses, it was so interesting to hear Danielle’s experiences and how they change from place to place. 

As far as first interviews go, I think it was great. I can’t wait to see where the rest of the project takes me!
